Yuanda Australia to provide the façade for Melbourne’s newest skyscraper

Yuanda Australia has once again been entrusted to design, build and install the façade on a key additional to the Melbourne cityscape – the spectacular 308 Exhibition Street building located in the north-east corner of the CBD.

308 Exhibition Street will be another of Melbourne’s multi-use skyscrapers.

The building will consist of two towers at 59 and 61 storeys and a three-level podium, and will contain over 300 apartments, retail spaces and a 500-room Shangri-La hotel.

The building will be notable for the 160-metre-long sky bridge, which will be situated on the 46^th floor.  The unique feature will make 308 Exhibition Street one of Australia’s most recogniseable buildings once it is completed

It will connect the two towers, and provide a stunning viewing platform over the city.  Yuanda Australia has been given the job of applying our engineering and design expertise to bring the architect’s designs to life.

Construction on 308 Exhibition Street is already in progress, with the first panels scheduled to be on side in August 2020.
