Façade Installation complete on the challenging Melbourne Square Tower 2 & 3

Yuanda Australia has completed the façade installation on the highly anticipated Melbourne Square Tower 2 & 3, located at 93-119 Kavanagh Street, Southbank.

The last panel on Tower 2 was installed this weekend marking the project’s completion.

Time constraints, challenging construction sequencing, and oversized six-metre ‘wing panels’, were just some of the challenges Yuanda overcame during the project.

Yuanda Project Manager Christiaan Lombard said he was proud of Yuanda succeeding in such a difficult project.

“Yuanda did a great job executing this project, considering the number of challenges we had to face,” Mr Lombard said.

“Few companies in Australia can boast having a global presence, project management and technical expertise coupled with a super factory with enormous capacity to complete such a challenging job such as this one.”

“I’m extremely happy with the results and was glad to be a part of what is expected to become one of the largest development precincts in Victoria’s history.”

The $2.8 billion building complex in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne consists of residential, hotel and commercial towers with an estimated completion in 2027.
